Mehr erfahren
Playing the Ukulele is fun. Singing Mantras makes you feel good. It's a perfect combination.

- The book starts right from the beginning, with a lot of easy and well-known Mantras that use the most basic ukulele chords.

- You find strumming and fingerpicking techniques - very basic strumming patterns you can use to start with, and then more advanced fingerpicking techniques you can experiment with.

- All Mantras are especially arranged for the Ukulele, and are accompanied by lyrics, chord diagrams and strumming patterns.

More than just a songbook, you also find a description of the main Hindu deities and inspirational informations about selected Mantras. This book will accompany and inspire you for a long time.

Renee Sunbird

Renée Sunbird studied Indology (Sanskrit) and Philosophy at the University of Vienna. She started a regular practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga during her time at university and wrote her diploma thesis on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
She traveled to India several times to deepen her yoga practice and experience the philosophy of India. There she also fell in love with Hinduism, Indian music, and learned Mantra and Bhajan singing.
After playing the flute, piano, double bass and guitar in her youth, she finally felt like she is making music when she started to play the ukulele.
When she shared her music, people and friends kept asking for chords, strumming patterns, and information about the Mantras,
which has inspired her to publish this book.
Renée has published CDs with Mantra music, and you can also find her on YouTube.
